How to perform a Social Mention search

Using Social Mention is as easy as using any search engine. Follow these steps:

1. Open a Web browser and go to www.socialmention.com.
2. Type in the search word or phrase you’re interested in. If you want the exact phrase searched for, enclose the phrase in quotation marks.
3. To narrow your results to blogs, images, videos, or questions, choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu. Use the default All to search everything.
4. Click Search.

You get a search results page like the one in Figure 1, which provides you a list of mentions of your search word or phrase, as well as statistics about what you searched for
